Leather & Gunmetal Concho Mariposas

It has taken me forever to come up with a design for these, I tried drilling holes, I tried removing the center bar that holds the (p)leather in place, I tried connecting to chainmaille for a bracelet.... this is what I came up with. And while its been done before I'm happy that at least the concho pieces are unique. They look like butterflies don't they? This pair is slightly heavy - 24 grams/pair. Leather is faux. Conchos are gunmetal in color. Likely a brass. Stainless steel earwires & Jump rings.
